We are pleased to be able to say that it looks as if the mail problems we have encountered with users of googlemail and GMX have been resolved. Notification and confirmation mails appear to be reaching their destinations without any problems. We will continue to keep our eye on this though.

We are able to accept PayPal payments but do not have an automated system in place at the moment. To pay by PayPal you need proceed as if you are paying by 'Cheque', and then append '(PP)' to your name as well as supplying an email address. We shall then send you an invoice from PayPal. By following the link within the email, you are able to make a payment from your PayPal account, and your ordered items will be dispatched on completion of the process.

Mails sent to users of GMX and googlemail are still being rejected. It appears that the mail server used by our provider has found it's way onto a 'spam list' which we presume is used by these providers to block mail. We are continuing to follow this up but would recommend you use the 'Print' or 'Page' -> 'Save As' options in your Browser to save a record of your order. The 'Print' option in your browser can also be used to print the page to a special type of Microsoft file that can be printed or just viewed on screen.

The product code in the shopping cart is now a hyperlink that enables you to view the details of the associated product. This enables you to easily view all the products in your shopping cart before proceeding to the checkout.

An increasing number of orders are being placed using iPhones. Whereas this works if you manually enter your address, it has come to our attention that using AutoFill does not work properly and duplicates the 1st line of your contact address while losing the rest. We advise you not to use the AutoFill button when supplying your address details.

We have had numerous requests from our customers asking about leggings and garters. In order to satisfy these requests we have added two new categories under Hosiery for Leggings and Garters. Over the coming weeks we will be adding to our offering in these categories.

We are currently having problems with some mail providers, notably GMX and googlemail. We are attempting to resolve these issues. When we send order confirmations or notification of order dispatches, our mails are being rejected by these two providers who claim they contain prohibited virus or spam content. Other providers such as Yahoo frequently treat our mails as spam so be aware you may need to check your spam folder for communication from us.

We receive many requests for 'closed crotch' bodystockings. Unfortunately, these are difficult to come by and until we are able to offer some we would recommend catsuits or unitards as alternatives. We are endeavouring to find and add some closed crotch bodystockings to the site. Bodystockings by their nature tend to be open crotch which is why most other sites don't even mention it in their descriptions.

A new sub-category has been added to our Hosiery category, by request. We are now able to provide a small selection of branded Suspender Belts to supplement the stockings we have on offer.

We have finally added the Bare Essentials brand to our collection. Many people may know it better as Jade which is the company behind the brand. We will be adding more items in due course.

Due to many enquiries and questions from our customers, we have located a supplier of dancewear and catsuits and have added a small selection under the new category, Unitards.  If these prove popular, then we shall be adding more styles and colours in the coming weeks.

This time of the year is awkward for us in that our suppliers drop some products and introduce new ones. Unfortunately, products are discontinued before we are provided with catalogues showing us the new products. As a result, this means our product offering does take a slight dip during January and February while we await confirmation of what new styles are available.

We would like to offer our apologies to anyone who sent us a question last year via our contact form and did not receive an acknowledgement or answer. We have only recently discovered that the service to handle this has not been working properly. This has now been fixed and so any subsequent questions asked should receive prompt replies.

As of the start of the year we have added a selection of hosiery including stockings, hold ups, and tights. This offering will be expanded during the course of the year. However, bodystockings will always be our main offering and we shall continue to seek out new styles and brands to add to the site whenever possible.

They say 'No News is Good News'. The lack of news updates has been due to the fact that we are continuing to add more products and variety whenever we can. In the near future we are planning on adding a small selection of tights and stockings so that customers can optionally purchase these items while ordering bodystockings.

Another new brand has been added to the site. A selection of bodystockings from Elegant Moments are now available, plus a few suspender bodystockings and bodies.

A new brand has been added to the site. We now also supply bodystockings, suspender bodystockings, and body dresses from Shirley of Hollywood. This brings the number of brands we supply up to 6 and we hope to be able to add to this in the future.

The site has now moved permanently from www.bodystockingavenue.com to www.bodystockingavenue.co.uk. Anyone entering the '.com' url will automatically be redirected to the '.co.uk' site. The reason for doing this is to improve our visibility on UK search listings especially when 'Pages in the UK' is checked.

A new range of bodystockings has been added from Extreme. We are constantly on the lookout for new brands and will be adding more in the near future.

We have redesigned the website's layout with regard the navigation between pages. Our aim is to keep the site's navigation as simple and self-intuitive as possible, and so we hope visitors are happy with the visual improvements we have made.

To show our customers that we take security seriously and that it is safe to buy from us we have applied for and been granted the SafeBuy logo. Supporters include the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Direct Marketing and so it is an accreditation that should comfort our visitors.

You will notice that the product detail page now contains the price next to each colour variation as opposed to being just displayed once higher up the page. This is to allow us to do selected promotions and discounts on colour variations.

Due to the increasing variety of bodystockings we stock, we have added a 'Quick Find' facility to enable you to locate quickly what you are looking for. It can be located on the 'Home page', 'menu sidebar', or here.

We have added a new range of bodystockings from Dreamgirl.

We have had many enquires for bodystockings that are to be worn on the stage or used for other hobbies or work. To cater for this interest we have created a special page containing the bodystockings we stock that have proved popular for these activities and which we therefore recommend.

We have added some new bodies sets (bodies with matching hold ups) as well as new body dresses.

We are also endeavouring to add plain sheer bodystockings which are proving quite difficult to obtain. We have had a number of requests for these and are doing all we can to obtain some.

Due to the number of customers who prefer to order by phone, we have extended our opening times from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday, and have opened on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

For the month of December we have reduced our postage from £2.50 down to just 99p. That is a saving off 60%.

As well as adding a buzz page where we hope to impart useful or interesting info, we are now also running a blog which features longer versions of the gossip articles plus other news and facts.

We have temporarily ceased using PayPal due to problems customers have encountered with it. We are accepting orders through our own secure server and so your confidentiality is ensured.

We would like to apologise to anyone who attempted to purchase bodystockings in colours such as purple and neon pink over the last week or so. Unfortunately, a technical problem prevented them being added to the shopping cart. This has now been fixed.
